The Spencer County Visitors Bureau is happy to assist tour operators, meeting planners, event coordinators, etc., interested in bringing a group of 15+ to the area. You’ll find several reasons as to why the Santa Claus, Indiana, area is the perfect destination for group travel, meetings, and events.

Holiday Themed Destination

Historical Destination

Step back in time and witness history at a replica of Abe Lincoln’s boyhood home. Learn about Lincoln’s childhood and our country’s history at local museums and sites.

Stroll through the trails Abraham Lincoln walked as a boy or take the group on a horseback riding adventure. Stop to take in the beauty of the Saint Meinrad Archabbey, one of only two archabbeys in the United States.

Promotional Materials

We can provide digital photos of attractions and the destination to help promote the tour. These can be sent via email or postal mail on a CD/DVD or USB. B-roll, video interviews, and promotional videos are also pieces we can provide. Need help explaining the tour you’re planning? We can assist you with promotional text and details for material pertaining to scheduled county tours.

Guide Services

We’re known for friendliness in the Midwest and are happy to step on the bus to deliver a warm welcome or greet your group at a reception. If your group would like to learn on the go, we can ride along throughout the local tour to give fun facts and info between stops. FAM Tours offer the opportunity for a tour operator to familiarize themselves with the attractions and destination to better sell the experience to their audience. In order to qualify for a FAM tour the following apply:

Tour operator must plan to bring a group of 20+ to stay overnight at local accommodation.
All FAM tours need to be approved by Spencer County Visitors Bureau Executive Director.
